Based on the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace, Shimizu has established an action plan that includes numerical targets and is implementing measures to further promote the advancement of women.

Structure

DE&I Promotion Structure

Under the Sustainability Committee chaired by the President, the Human Capital Subcommittee formulates and implements company-wide policies and specific initiatives related to DE&I.

Targets and Performance

In the Mid-Term Business Plan (2024–2026), the following KPIs (FY2026 targets) have been set: a ratio of women in management positions of 6% or more (10% or more by 2030) and an employment rate of persons with disabilities of 2.7% or more. For the results of initiatives under each theme, please refer to the following pages.
