Shimizu Corporation ＜President: Kazuyuki Inoue＞ has selected 16 partner companies out of 79 applicants for its ongoing program "SHIMZ NEXT".
"SHIMZ NEXT" is an accelerator program aimed at solving social issues by realising a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable society, which is the goal of the long-term vision "SHIMZ VISION 2030". The program has set Construction ＆ Urban Design, Resilience, and Environment & Energy as its business themes. Shimizu began accepting applications from participating start-up companies on November 14, 2022. A total of 79 start-ups, including 36 from overseas, applied for the program, and 9 companies in the Construction ＆ Urban Design field, 1 in the Resilience field, and 6 in the Environment & Energy field were selected as our partner companies.
We will make a presentation on our collaboration efforts with each partner company at our booth at City-Tech. Tokyo, a global start up technology event hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to be held on 27th and 28th February. We will work with each partner company to verify collaboration ideas and develop further commercialization. "SHIMZ NEXT" is operated jointly with ReGACY Innovation Group, Inc.
