Shimizu Corporation delivered a lecture on the theme of new design methods using building information modeling (BIM) to a BIM seminar organized by the Osaka Association of Architects & Building Engineers.
This lecture on the theme "Environmental Simulation Using BIM" considered the case study of the Global Zero Emission Research Center . It described matters such as design methods for the entrance canopy using Shimz DDE, fabrication and construction processes, and earning Net Zero Energy Building (ZEB) certification for renovation work that realized the concept of net-zero renovation.
