The shared-use, multi purpose testing facilities are used for various experiments related to concrete, construction materials, soil properties, physical science, information technologies, chemicals, natural energy utilization, greening activities, and weathering resistance, among others.

The Multi Purpose Testing Laboratory was renovated using advanced building renewal technologies such as the Shimizu SR-CF construction method, which significantly improves earthquake resistance, and SSN renovation technology, which updates existing low- to mid-rise office buildings to the latest specifications.
