CSR Report

Shimizu began publishing the Shimizu Global Environmental Report in 1995. This report provides information on Shimizu's various environmental and social initiatives and serves as a tool for disclosing information to and stimulating communication with those outside the company, including the general public.

In 1997 and in 1999, respectively, the Environmental Report won the first and third Environmental Action Plan Awards conferred by the former Environment Agency of Japan. The report began including environmental accounting from its 2000 edition, which addressed results for the 1999 fiscal year. Independent review of the report by a third party began with the 2004 edition.

From the 2008 edition, the Environmental Report became known as the "CSR Report." Future plans call for further enhancing the contents to meet social needs and maintain the report's objectivity.
