Restriction of the browsing of the corporate website

On January 18, 2019, Shimizu Corporation (the “Company”) was ordered to suspend a part of its business, as stated below, by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism under the relevant provisions of the Construction Business Act in connection with the fact that the Company had been found guilty of the charge of violating the Antimonopoly Act with respect to the Shinkansen Shinagawa Station (North-section) Construction Project and others, which had been ordered by the Central Japan Railway Company.

1. Business to be suspended
   Business activities aiming to secure contracts for private work in respect of civil engineering construction in Japan
2. Period
   For 120 days from February 2, 2019 to June 1, 2019

Accordingly, We restrict the browsing of the corporate website during the above said period.

We have put in place stringent measures to prevent a recurrence of similar incidents as announced on March 23, 2018 and are firmly determined to restore the trust of our stakeholders and the public through these measures.
